Go to the Kalikow Center and look at the Educational Technology. Include low-tech items such as writing aids. Find three items to use in your classroom. Why?
-Assistive Technology Software, tons of various uses.
-Doves, helps kids with low motor skills.
-Thick writing utensils, same as above.
Go to the juvenile library in the Kalikow Center in the Education Center and identify five books you could use in your content area.
-Book of the American Revolution
-The Log of Christopher Columbus
-George Washington
-The Iroquois
-Snowbound
All of the above texts have lots of pictures, and simple words to explain these historic events.
